The Sports Shooter Academy-Mini will be held November 15-16, 2013 in Orange County, Calif. continuing the tradition of education, inspiration and fun that is the trademark of these hands-on shooting workshops.

The SSA-Mini features a great schedule of sports events that participants can cover, including college football, basketball, soccer and volleyball. Classroom session topics feature talks on remote camera photography, improving your sports photography and editing for impact. Mornings at the SSA will be made up of classroom lectures and discussions. Afternoons and early evening participants will cover various sports events that have been selected. Nighttime participants will edit their work and receive one-on-one critiques by the workshop faculty.

The Sports Shooter Academy workshops are the brainchild of Matt Brown, Los Angeles Angels director of photography and Robert Hanashiro, USA TODAY staff photographer and Sports Shooter founder.
