An award-winning photographer specializing in action sports, lifestyle and portraits, not to mention an all-around kind-hearted vegan health nut, Garth Milan graduated from Long Beach State University with a degree in Photojournalism and a minor in Psychology.
A lifelong participant in motocross racing, Milan first spent time honing his skills at Dirt Rider magazine before helping to launch TransWorld Motocross magazine as one of two founding editors. With over 15 years of magazine experience and three published books under his belt, Milan has modestly grown into his role as one of action sports’ leading photographers.
When he’s not busy firing off shots that will make your mouth water, Garth spends his time mountain biking, skating pools, and staying limber at Bikram Yoga. Milan’s keen eye for art and design, as well as his vast photographic experience in a wide variety of landscapes, make him a critical component to The Medium.
